Evaluation
& Grading
The Institute follows a rigorous system of
continuous evaluation, and the feedback methods include quizzes, tests,
assignments, mid-term and end-term exams, individual/group project work,
presentations, and panel discussions. Hundred per cent attendance for all
courses is mandatory. Students are evaluated on their relative performance
through a letter grading system as shown below:

Based on
the performance in each course, a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) is
awarded for the entire programme. At the end of the first year, any student
who does not meet the minimum standards is asked to withdraw from the
programme. |
