Q. Does TAPMI accept scores of
GMAT or any other similar test for admission? |

A. At present we accept
scores of only the CAT and GMAT. These scores are used
only for short-listing of applicants for further admissions
process of TAPMI. |

Q. What is the total programme
fee? |
|
A.
The
Academic Fee payable by admitted students for the 2-year
PGDM programme of 2008-2010 will be Rs. 6,46,000/-
(inclusive of Textbook Fee). Hostel Fee will be
approximately Rs. 1,10,000/- for the two-year period (double
occupancy). Monthly Food Bill will be approximately Rs.
1,800/-.
Note: The above fees are subject to change anytime during the programme.
The changes if any, will be notified sufficiently in
advance.

can I obtain the Application Form? |

A. TAPMI Application Forms
are made available at TAPMI - Manipal, TAPMI CEE -
Bangalore, and select branches of AXIS(UTI) Bank. The
branch list is posted in this section. Application forms are
also available in select branches of the following CAT
coaching centers, IMS Learning Center, Career Launcher,
Career Forum, TIME Education, Professional Tutorials and
Erudite Educational Services. |

Q. Is there any age limit to
pursue TAPMI's PGDM Programme? |

A. No. We do not stipulate
any minimum or maximum age limits. |

Q. Are there any reserved
quotas for special category of applicants? |

A. No. TAPMI does not have
any reservations or quotas for admissions. |
|
Q. Does TAPMI offer any
financial assistance or scholarship? |
|
A. No. At present, we do not
offer any. |

Q. Can a graduate of PGDM from
TAPMI pursue Ph.D. programme in India or abroad? |
|
A. Yes. Graduates of TAPMI
PGDM are eligible to pursue their Ph.D. programme in India
and abroad. |

Q. Does TAPMI offer "specialisation"
in PGDM? |
|
A. Yes. We offer a large
basket of elective courses in each functional area of
management. Students can "specialise" in Marketing, Finance,
Systems, HRD, Entrepreneurship etc. |

Q. Does TAPMI arrange any
educational loans? |
|
A. Selected applicants can
apply directly to many nationalized and private sector banks
for educational loans. Necessary documents and other
assistance will be provided by TAPMI to facilitate the
process. |

A. TAPMI's placement record

A. No TAPMI uses CAT or GMAT
scores to shortlist candidates for admission interviews. |

A. No. Along with test scores, TAPMI
would consider academic record, work experience, clarity of
purpose and extra curricular achievements to shortlist
candidates for interviews. |

separate admission process for NRI candidates with GMAT scores? |

A. No. TAPMI does not have a separate
process for NRI candidates. All short listed candidates go
through the same interview process. |

Q. How and when to send
the GMAT scores to TAPMI? |
|
A. It is sufficient to fill in the GMAT
test registration number in the TAPMI application form. The
scores should be sent by the candidates to TAPMI by 10th January 2008. |
