Dr. B. Sasidhar is a Post-Graduate in Statistics from Indian Statistical Institute (I S I), Calcutta and has completed P.G. Diploma in SQC & OR from the same Institute. He obtained his Ph.D. in Statistics from Mangalore University.

He has over 30 years of experience in industry and academics. His main areas of experience include Quality Management Systems, Data analysis & interpretation. Prior to joining TAPMI as Professor, he has worked with Steel Authority of India / Visvesvaraya Iron & Steel Plant, Bhadravati (India); Universiti Tun Abdul Razak (UNITAR), Malaysia; ZIMCO (Zambia Industrial & Mining Corporation) Institute of Management, Zambia; and Sri Venkateswara University Post-Graduate Centre, Kurnool (India).

He has extended training for auditing and implementation of Quality Management Systems. He has authored / co-authored four books and published over 15 research / conference papers in Indian / International Journals. He has also guided students for successful completion of Ph.D.

His fields of expertise include Business Research Methods, Operations Management and Management of Quality.
