National Seminar: Organised AICTE Sponsored National Seminar  on "Challenges in Delivering Quality Services in Management and Technical Libraries on April 25-26, 2003 at TAPMI premises. The seminar was a great success with over 85 participants participation and over 25 paper presentations. The proceedings of the seminar and edited papers have been published as book by Allied Publishers Ltd., Chennai in 2004. 

(2006): The paper “Impact of Technology on Library Services: A Study from Customers’ Perspectives” presented at VIII MANLIBNET Convention organised by Institute of Management, NIRMA University, Ahmedabad during Sept 18 to 20, 2006 at Ahmedabad. This paper received Best Paper Award at the conference.

(2006): Access to Digital Information through CD-ROM Networking: An Experiment with CD Server Technology" paper presented at National seminar on Strategies a Standards for Knowledge Resource Centres organised by PSG Institute of Management, Coimbotore on January 27-28, 2006 at Coimbotore. This paper received Best Paper Award at the conference.

(2005): Attended CALIBER 2005 (Annual conference of INFLIBNET, unit of UGC) on February 2-4, 2005  organized by INFLIBNET and Cochin University of Science and Technology at Cochin.

(2005): Has attended a weeklong workshop on Dspace, HTML, and Mylibrary during December 27, 2004  to January 1, 2005 organized by the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai.

(2004): Submitted a paper entitled “LIS Educator Practitioner Partnership: TAPMI's Model of Industry-institute Interface" to IATLIS( Indian Association of Teachers of Library and Information Science) National Conference from November 18-20, 2004 at Nagpur University, Nagpur.

(2004) Attended MDP on Digital Library programme conducted by Indian Institute of Management, Kozikode, Kerala during January 19-21, 2004. the workshop was focused on creating digital libraries using Greenstone Digital Library open sources oftware.

(2003): Presented a paper on Information Access: Methods and Barriers at National seminar on Information access organised by Calicut University on May 25-27,2003 at Calicut.

(2003): Attended 48^th Indian Library Association Annual Conference organised by ILA on January 23-27,2003 at NIMHANS,Bangalore,. The trip was also used to canvas on TAPMI seminar and meeting sponsors.

 (2003): Submitted a paper on “Business Research Information: A Study of Business Databases used by Management institutes”  for 5^th Management librarians network (MANLIBNET) conference orgamnized by malibnet at XLRI, Jamshedpur on March 6-8, 2003. The paper has been written with co-authorship of Dr. D Shivalingaiah of Managalore University.  Dr. Shivalingaiah has presented the paper at the conference.
