TAPMI is proud to acknowledge:

  1. We congratulate Dr R C Natarajan for his achievement of securing the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) and wish him many more such achievements.           He received the degree on 01 September 2007 from Manipal University. The title of his doctoral thesis isRelationship between Trust and Monitoring in Administered Distribution Channel”. He was guided by Dr. Simon George.

  2. Professor Pratap Chandra Biswal has been offered the Banking and Financial Services Industry (BFSI) Chair Professorship by the ICICI Bank. We congratulate him for receiving this prestigious Chair Professorship. The Chair is offered for a period of three years from August 2007.

  3. Professor Saji Mathew, who has been awarded the Fulbright Senior Research Fellowship for 2007-08 and will spend the period of his fellowship at Emory University, Atlanta, USA. The title of the Fulbright Research Proposal is "Risk Assessment of Offshore IT Outsourcing Engagements between US & India."

  4. Professor A V Rajagopalan, on a visit to Oakland University as a part of TAPMI's Faculty Exchange Program, was awarded a Certificate of Excellence in recognition of his significant contributions to the research community at Oakland University, USA. His efforts towards supporting Oakland University's mission to provide opportunities for applied research and scholarship were also recognized.

  5. Anjana Rajamani, [batch 2004-06] who has been selected for the Ph.D. program in Finance at University of Pittsburgh - Joseph M Katz Graduate School of Business and granted full scholarship along with Teaching/Research Assistantship.

Contribution to Management Case Studies:

  1. "About 150 cases and other teaching materials from TAPMI have been registered with the European Case Clearing House (ECCH). These materials are outputs of MIP based on the collaborative effort of the students, faculty guide and the industry guide. Recent information from ECCH shows that these materials have been accessed widely for use by faculty in business schools."
